Una parte de mí cree que nací siendo fotógrafa. Aún existen muchos rollos viejos sin una foto mía a lo largo de los años(a pesar de las suplicas de mi madre de una foto con mi cara en ella). Sin mencionar toda una serie dedicada a ver como se reflejaba el flash de mi Fuji Color Neón, contra el vidrio y el agua de las peceras en el acuario.
La fotografía me encontró oficialmente en ITESO en 2002, como parte de una clase en mi Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Comunicación. Profesionalmente me inicié hasta 2006. En por ICP (Internacional Center of Photography, New York, NY. 2006-07), me especialicé en Documentalismo, y hasta la fecha es la base de mi pasión y constante actualización.
Mi segundo amor es la edición y curaduría fotográfica. Hoy tengo 5 libros editados, 3 en los cuales también participo como fotógrafa. Después de una pausa maternal, hoy regreso con esta amores nutridos y nuevos proyectos por realizar.
Esta página es un producto del trabajo fotográfico y editorial actual, y de años atrás. Pretende presentar mi visión individual y compartida de ese mundo. Gracias por estar aquí presenciándolo.
A part of me belives that I was born a photographer. There are still a bunch of old film with out a single photo with me in it (even though mi mother always beg me for one). Not mentioned of an entire series dedicade to see how the flash of my Fuji Color Neon, reflected on the glass and water of the fish tanks at the acuriaum.
Photography officially found me at ITESO in 2002, as part of a class in my Bachelor of Communication Sciences. Professionally I started up to 2006 at ICP (International Center of Photography, New York, NY, 2006-07), I specialized in Documentalism, and to date is the basis of my passion and constant updating.
My second love is editing and curating photography. Today I have 5 books published, 3 in which I also participate as a photographer. After a maternal pause, today I return with this nourished love and new projects to be made.
